DocFather Professional consists of two editions: DocFather Standalone Edition and DocFather Applet Edition. Use DocFather to create a search applet for your Website. Just enter the filename of your home page (you need to do this locally on your own computer), and DocFather will quickly index the site. Once you have modified your site and uploaded the appropriate files created with the Applet Edition, an attractive and useful Java app will allow visitors to perform keyword searches of your Website. Alternately, use DocFather Standalone Edition to create a totally self-contained version of your Website, complete with a built-in browser and search engine. The results produced by the Standalone Edition are appropriate for distributing on CD-ROM. In either case, its tabbed interface categorizes search methods by Topics, Index, Search and Map. You can display it as part of your Web page or as a separate dialog box.
